Some dogs may have trouble chewing hard or tough foods. You can easily turn most foods into mushy, soupy meals. Not only does this cut down on their need to chew, it delivers good water content to keep them hydrated.

Instructions
  1. Essentially, what you will do is make a 'soup' or liquidy version of your dog's food. Starting with soft or wet food makes this much easier, otherwise you will need to soak your dog's dry food until it gets soft. Put the food in bowl as usual. Then, add a spoon or two of water. Then, begin whisking the food with the fork, as if you were beating eggs. Continue this process, adding a teaspoon of water at a time or so, and whisking, until the food becomes pulverized. If you feel like it, you could also just put the food in the blender and pulverize it. The goal is to create a thick, soupy mush that your dog doesn't have to chew and will digest easily.
