This recipe can be used as is, or adjusted to your dog’s preferences. You may also like to sip on it yourself. If your dog doesn’t like this tea on its own, you can just offer a little bit mixed in with your dog’s meals. Try a tablespoon or so with one of your dog’s meals.
If your dog doesn’t like it at ALL, then perhaps you will!

Notes on ingredients:
- Turmeric – The American Holistic Veterinary Medical Association (AHVMA) shares that turmeric is well known for its anti-cancer properties, and also works as an anti-inflammatory, antimicrobial and more!
- Ground pepper – works to enhance the absorption of turmeric, but you can omit if it is too strong for your dog.
- Lemon – enhances flavor, but you can use another juice such as cranberry for bladder health
- Honey – Make sure to opt for local honey from your area. It can help a lot with allergies!
- Coconut oil – I love this stuff!
- Ginger – I also love this little gem. It enhances digestion and so much more.
